  2. Each year between 8,000 and 18,000 people are hospitalized with Legionnaires` Disease In the U.S.
  3. The bacteria are NOT spread from person to person
  4. Can cause death in up to 5% to 30% of cases.
  5. Usually happens in summer and early fall, but it can happen any time of year.
